Book Genie, Grant Me These Wishes So I May Be Eternally Happy ~ TTT #6

I am really excited for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post, because a magical book genie is going to grant me 10 bookish wishes. 

Nah, just kidding. But at least I’ll get to rave about nonexistent stuff, right? *silently cries because wishes can never truly be fullfilled*

WISH #1: GIVE ME AN EVERLASTING SUPPLY OF MONEY TO BUY BOOKS WITH

I mean, duh. I’m gonna need all the money I can get to afford all the beautiful books that I collect. AND READ.

WISH #2: ALLOW ME TO NEVER HAVE TO PAY LIBRARY FEES

Gahhh, this gets me so hard sometimes, especially when I get huge stacks of library books (15+) and then forget to return them!

WISH #3: BESTOW UPON ME ALL THE COMIC BOOKS IN THE WORLD

My new love of graphic novels & comics is amazing, and I need all of them because I read them so quickly.

WISH #4: PROMISE TO ME THAT THE TV SHOW OF THRONE OF GLASS WILL BE EPIC

Oh god. Throne of Glass is such a beautiful and epic series, and I need the TV show to be all that and more. If it turns out like the City of Bones movie, I may kill myself.

WISH #5: BLESS ME WITH ALL THE ROOM I NEED ON MY BOOKSHELVES

I mean, giving me all the money I’ll ever need to buy books is pretty good. But what’s the point if I’m not gonna have any room on my shelves?

WISH #6: SUMMON FOR ME A MAGICAL APP THAT WILL DECIDE IF I SHOULD PICK UP A BOOK REQUESTED FOR REVIEW

I assume that once my blog starts getting more followers, I will attract more attention with authors and they will naturally come to me, begging for a review for their books. But I really will need some sort of app on my phone to assess the summary and content of the books beforehand, and then decide if I should put my reading and reviewing time into that book.

WISH #7: FLOOD INTO ME THE POWER TO GIVE UP BOOKS IF I DISLIKE THEM

Never again do I want to continue with a book or series if I dislike it (I’m looking at you, Kiera Cass). There’s just not enough time in this life to read sh**ty things.

WISH #8: GIVE ME THE HEALING POWER TO NEVER RUIN MY BOOKS AGAIN

The pages of my books need a little break from the constant spills and stains. I mean, it marks that I’ve read & (hopefully) loved the book, but still… It’s kind of gross.

WISH #9: RESURRECT WITHIN ME THE MEMORIES OF THE FIRST TIME I READ MY FAVORITE BOOKS 

It’s so sad that I’ve forgotten what it was like to experience Harry Potter for the first time. If I cannot reread these books with a fresh slate, then I want to remember my feelings for them.

WISH #10: GRACE ME WITH ACTUAL ART SKILLS SO I MAY DRAW LOVING FANART

I need to stop being so jealous of all these talented people on Tumblr (ahem, Linneart) and just create my own freaking stuff.
